Launched in a limited edition of only 169 pieces, the stylish chronograph pays colorful homage to seminal 1970s design iconography. The case-back is engraved with the original “Monaco Heuer” logo, “1969-1979 Special Edition” and “One of 169”.
The facetted horizontal markers are rhodium plated and polished to a burnished gleam. The bold geometry of the brown calfskin strap with camel lining epitomizes 1970 race-world elegance.
The angled date display at six o’clock is bright white, as is the vintage HEUER logo and “MONACO” imprint at 12. Inside beats the robust Calibre 11, the first automatic chronograph movement in the world when it was launched.
