When the update is completed, your watch will disconnect and reset, and you will have to do a new pairing.
If you don’t already have the TAG Heuer Connected app installed on your smartphone, go to the Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS) to download your new companion app!
The TAG Heuer Connected app will be your new and only partner for pairing your watch. Make sure it's connected and enjoy many customization, wellness, and sports features! To get the most out of its features, create your account following the sign- in process.
You don’t need Wear OS by Google™ app anymore on your phone. You can uninstall it if you don’t have any usage of this app.
After pressing “Tap to begin” on your watch, select your language and open the TAG Heuer Connected app on your phone.
On your phone, tap “Start pairing with Wear OS” to launch the pairing process.
If you cannot find this window, go to Settings, and scroll down to select “Pair a new watch”.
The first screen will ask you to enable Bluetooth on your phone.
If you have an iPhone, you will need to go to your Bluetooth settings to forget your watch . This action is required before each new pairing, otherwise the connection cannot be made.
You will be able to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password directly from your phone. This step is required to ensure your watch will automatically receive updates.
Note: this step is for iPhone users only. Android users will be automatically connected to your phone's Wi-Fi network.
To end the pairing process, enter your Google account to access the Google Play on your watch.
From the Google Play, you will be able to download third-party apps, but more importantly you will be able to receive TAG Heuer applications updates (new watch faces, new features, improvements, etc.).
Once the pairing is completed, you can browse through tips on your TAG Heuer Connected app to discover more about your watch and the new operating system.
A tutorial is also available on the watch.
