Forged from grade 5 titanium via Selective Laser Melting, a specific type of additive manufacturing, the case’s hollowed structure optimizes airflow while reducing weight. The black DLC-coated titanium bezel and pushers, plus the solid 18K 2N yellow gold split-seconds pusher at 9 o’clock, underscore its disruptive design. Every element, from the golden accents on the dial to the hand-finished caliber, embodies TAG Heuer's avant-garde expression of fine watchmaking.
The openworked sapphire dial reveals a commanding view of the split-seconds chronograph Calibre TH81-00—TAG Heuer’s most complex mechanical movement. On the case, solid 18K 2N yellow gold honeycomb structure, precisely cut by laser, echo the form of air intakes, balancing refinement and technicity in a visually striking display.
The black rubber and alcantara leather strap is secured with a polished and finely brushed black DLC grade 5 titanium butterfly clasp. Ergonomic and technical, it complements the bold, aerodynamic lines of the case.
