Australia’s leading Swiss watch brand, TAG Heuer, writes another page of its rich sporting history announcing its appointment as Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the 2015 International Champions Cup Australia.

This week, Australia's sporting capital will play host to the world’s greatest football giants - Real Madrid, Manchester City and AS Roma - as they take centre stage at Melbourne's iconic sporting arena, the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). The highly anticipated tournament is the first and possibly only time that football fans will have the opportunity to see this inimitable group of European league champions compete in Australia. TAG Heuer's partnership with the 2015 International Champions Cup Australia will see branding across the scoreboard, countdown clock and stadium during the course of the tournament.

Three-times winner of the Fifa Ballon d’Or and TAG Heuer Ambassador, Cristiano Ronaldo, will be amongst the football legends competing in the 3-game tournament.

“TAG Heuer is very excited to be part of the International Champions Cup’s global expansion that has brought this great game to the heart of Melbourne", says Philip Richards, TAG Heuer's General Manager for Australia and New Zealand. "We're especially thrilled to welcome our TAG Heuer ambassador Cristiano Ronaldo to Australia, whom like TAG Heuer makes his own rules and never cracks under pressure.’’

At BASELWORLD watch fair in March 2015, TAG Heuer launched Cristiano Ronaldo’s first special edition CR7 chronometers – black and football pitch-green – created in close collaboration with its ambassador.

Last week, 20 July 2015, Cristiano Ronaldo & TAG Heuer also launched the new advertising campaign #DontCrackUnderPressure. The campaign will be launched across the main international media on 20th August 2015, just in time for the start of the new football season in Europe. The message: Ronaldo doesn’t crack under pressure. He follows his own path. Defines his own rules. He challenges himself and the others.

3 questions for Cristiano Ronaldo:

What’s the best advice you could give someone else?
Make your own rules, set a goal and follow it through… no one can do it for you.

Which is more important, talent or passion? Discipline or skill? All is important. If you’re not passionate about what you do, you won’t move forward and you can never reach your potential. But you also need to be as strong mentally as physically, and you must work constantly to create your own opportunities for success.
