TAG Heuer celebrates 150 years of history by bringing together 400 pieces for an unprecedented exhibition with its collectors: Heuer Globetrotter

From September 16th to September 30th, a total of 400 pieces will be exhibited simultaneously with 10 specific themes, pursuing TAG Heuer’s unique Avant-Garde spirit : classic Heuer in Paris, the major inventions in Geneva, military watches at Munich, cars and timekeeping in Venice, sailing and diving at Dubai, Formula One in Singapore, cars and drivers at Hong Kong, multisports in Sydney and design through history at Tokyo.

In view of the significant damage sustained in Miami from Hurricane Irma, the Globetrotter exhibition at the Miami boutique has been postponed. We wish a speedy recovery for the state of Florida. The date will be confirmed very soon.

With more than 150 years of history, TAG Heuer is a reference in watchmaking’s world. Its unique savoir-faire, combining tradition and pioneer spirit, engraved time with innovations which became timeless classics.

From the Monaco Calibre 11 and its disruptive square design to the invention of chronographs always more accurate for motorsports or its ground-breaking communication by signing for the first time ever a F1 pilot of legend, Ayrton Senna in 1985, TAG Heuer engraved collective memory.

In this spirit, TAG Heuer offers from September 16th to September 30th an unprecedented concept: ten exhibitions in ten boutiques simultaneously. 400 timepieces are reunited for Globetrotters. Lent by collectors or from the Museum of the Manufacture, these unique timepieces will allow the public to discover the rich heritage of TAG Heuer.

From the pocket watch to on-board counters, including the many patents that have revolutionised the history of the watch brand and the industry, TAG Heuer reveals the ingredients which turned the brand into an iconic reference in Haute Horlogerie, within all the glory of its past.
