TAG Heuer flagship store grand opening in #DontCrackUnderPressure style in Russia

The sparkling Moscow lights along Kuzneckij Most, the very center of the city, were the perfect backdrop for last night’s party celebrating the grand opening of TAG Heuer’s flagship store. More than 200 guests came here – media, influencers and key retailers, to Kuzneckij Most 7, to congratulate the Swiss avant-garde brand with this significant event.

The guest list included the brand’s friends Olympic champions in snowboarding Alena Zavarzina and Vic Wild, as well as actress Ingrid Olerinskaya who introduced to the public TAG Heuer’s General Manager in Russia Oleg Kaydalov along with one of the most famous people in the watchmaking industry, Guy Semon.

Guy Semon, General Manager of TAG Heuer brand and head of research and development, is known for his great achievements in the watchmaking business. Among them thee are the world’s first belt-driven watch Monaco V4, and the most precise chronograph in the world, TAG Heuer Mikrogirder, which won in 2012 the most prestigious Grand Prix de Geneve – Aiguille d’Or.

During his speech, Guy Semon presented the key novelty of this year – the chronograph TAG Heuer CARRERA – Heuer 01. The main difference between this new TAG Heuer piece and the rest of the traditional TAG Heuer solid cases is a modular titanium case consisting of 12 elements. This new concept reveals the unlimited amount of opportunities for combining materials, finishes and decor. Apart from that, Guy Semon revealed the secrets of another brand’s project, TAG Heuer Connected watch, invented in collaboration with Intel and Google, which is expected in Russia beginning of next year.

The official part of the grand opening ceremony continued with a party, accompanied by an encouraging TAG Heuer tagline #DontCrackUnderPressure. Alena Zavarzina and Vic Wild changed snowboards for retro-style roller skates, just like the rest of the guests who wanted to test their physical endurance at the indoor rink, built in front of the new TAG Heuer boutique.
