Patrick Dempsey may be known for saving lives as "Dr McDreamy" on "Grey's Anatomy" or sending hearts aflutter on on the big screen, but on the racetrack, he's Dr. McDanger and his own heart beats faster and faster as he speeds to victory. His Patrick Dempsey team is a fixture in American and European race circuit and this year, he and his team are working toward a podium finish at the most prestigious endurance event in motorsports, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
He drove a lawn mower in Can’t Buy Me Love and now he’s behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 as he puts the pedal to the metal with his Patrick Dempsey team. Even with his busy schedule as actor and father, Patrick Dempsey and his team have managed to score podium finishes at Circuit of the Americas, Laguna Seca and at Petit at Le Mans. They’ve sped through Daytona, braved the arduous off-road Baja race and then set sights on the 24 hours of Le Mans, the most coveted trophy in endurance racing of all time. Dempsey finished second at the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LM GTE-Am category and won at Suzuka in his Porsche Patrick Dempsey 911 RSR 2015. Even as Dempsey takes a back seat to devote more time to his family, he’ll be going full speed ahead as team owner as Patrick Dempsey continues to push harder on the international racing circuit.

Patrick Dempsey, a brand ambassador, spent two days in Switzerland. He met with Jack Heuer at the Manufacture. Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Tag Heuer and President of LVMH’s Watch Division was there to greet Patrick and show him the inner workings of watchmaking.
The second day, as Official Timekeeper of the Haute Route, he was in the Alps to get first hand experience of the event, the world’s highest and toughest cyclosportive that challenges riders to climb some of the most challenging and iconic mountains in Europe over seven days.
