TAG Heuer celebrates the opening of a new boutique at the Forum Shops of Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada with two limited editions of the Carrera Calibre Heuer 01.
“The Las Vegas boutique marks the 8th store location in the U.S. for TAG Heuer and we wanted to create something unique to Las Vegas to commemorate this moment,” says Kilian Muller, President and CEO of TAG Heuer North America.
The pair of Carrera Calibre Heuer 01 Las Vegas Limited Editions pay homage to Las Vegas and The Strip by drawing inspiration from the wheel of the classic casino game, Roulette. Situated on black alligator rubber/leather straps with red stitching, the watches bring the Roulette table to life by alternating black, red and green sections along the outside perimeter of the dials.
While both timepieces pay special tribute to Las Vegas, only one will feature a diamond bezel comprised of 64 1.50 and 1.40 carats. TAG Heuer will only produce nine of these watches, each numbered X “OF 7”, beginning with ‘0’ and ‘00’ and continuing through ‘7’ in keeping with the Roulette table format. The watch with the ceramic bezel will be produced in a quantity of 77 with "LAS VEGAS LIMITED EDITION OF 77" engraved onto the caseback. The number 7 is widely known as the one of the luckiest numbers in the gambling world.
The Carrera Calibre Heuer 01 with the diamond bezel will retail for $9,900 while the model with the ceramic bezel will retail for $6,200. Both watches will be available exclusively at the Las Vegas TAG Heuer boutique and tagheuer.com.
