Henrik Lundqvist is a professional Swedish ice hockey player, famous for serving as the goaltender of the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL). After competing in Europe he arrives in NHL by 2005, and starts to shine with the Rangers. Lundqvist is well-known for his speed of execution, his agility beside his cage, leading his team to the edge of the East conference in 2014. His wonderful skills have been rewarded by the Vezina Trophy in 2012, for the best goaltender of the League.

With his Swedish national team, Henrik is a highly-skilled defender who never cracks under pressure. He holds the record of the most consecutive minutes without conceding a goal in an Olympic game, with unbelievable performances contributing to his team winning the gold medal in the 2006 Torino Olympics, and as well as the silver medal in Sochi (2014).
