October 8th, 1992 (Age 23)
PLACE OF BIRTH
Wave-maker, six-time world stand up paddle champion, First place winner at the Hawaii Island Finals SUP pro and at the Sunset Beach SUP pro in 2012
Catching waves, holding lines and flying high are his jam.
He may not quite be able to walk on water, but Kai Lenny can surf, windsurf, stand up paddle and kite surf so well he’s already become a deity in the world of watersports. Kai means “ocean” in Hawaiian and this young trailblazer has been living up to his name and making waves since his early childhood.
He learned to surf at age 4, windsurf at 6, stand up paddle at 7 and kite surf at 9. He’s a six-time world stand up paddle champion and continues to reel in wins in watersport competitions around the world. He was crowned 2015 SUP world series champion, won the Pe’ahi GoPro challenge in 2015 after charging 50-60 foot waves and even challenged a $15 million yacht to a race.
This daredevil battles monster waves with effortless ease and never backs down despite the dangers around him. We can’t wait to ride the party wave with him as he continues to make a splash in the surf world. Hang loose!
