Alexander Rossi is an American professional racing driver, whose young career is off to an impressive start. In his rookie season as an IndyCar driver, he won the 100th running of the iconic Indianapolis 500, showing nerves of a veteran, and the guts of a champion. His risky strategy paid off, bringing him across the legendary “yard of bricks”ahead of the field. Just 24 years old, he was the first rookie to win his Indianapolis debut in 15 years.
On the global circuit, he made an impressive debut in 2008, becoming Formula BMW champion. His next victories in GP3 Series, Formula 3.5 Renault and GP2 Series opened the gates of Formula one for him. In 2016, he is the reserve driver for Manor Racing.
