TAG HEUER’S SPORT HERITAGE EXHIBITS AT SYDNEY

From September 16th to September 30th, a collection of timepieces which branded TAG Heuer’s history will be unveil in Sydney with the motor sports universe.

TAG Heuer launches a unique concept all over the world: Heuer Globetrotters to celebrate its more than 150 years of history. A total of 400 timepieces will be exposed in 10 countries. TAG Heuer collaborated with its most dedicated collectors to share, in addition to the unique piece of the Manufacture’s Museum, its inheritance in all its glory.

Tennis, boxing, soccer, cycling… TAG Heuer invested many sports since the invention in 1887 of the famous oscillating pinion for mechanical chronometers – still in use today. By innovating with calibers and chronographs always challenging its accuracy, TAG Heuer became through time a reference in the sports world. Several iconic timepieces are displayed at Sydney.

According to David Chambers, TAG Heuer’s aficionado from Melbourne: "This is a fantastic opportunity for people to see some of the world's most special vintage Heuer that serve as the inspiration for today's TAG Heuer collection.”

The Ring Master from 1957, with interchangeable bezel depending on the sport in question, is the key piece of the exhibition.

Fans, collectors and curious could discover this iconic watch which inspired the 2016 Muhammad Ali special edition.
