TAG Heuer's contribution to the world of chronographs and accurate timing goes back over 150 years, inventing and producing some of the most accurate chronographs in the Swiss watchmaking industry, while pushing the boundaries of timing accuracy – 1/10, 1/100, 1/1000 and 5/10,000 of a second.
Perpetuating this unique savoir-faire, TAG Heuer expands its TAG Heuer Link collection – following the diamond bezel version – with a sportier version featuring a chronograph.
It was a natural step for TAG Heuer to unveil its TAG Heuer Link model in a chronograph version, giving this iconic piece a stylish, sporty look. A design that dates back to 1987 and before receiving a masterful makeover in 2016.
The TAG Heuer Link is immediately recognisable with the shape of its bracelet. Boasting the signature S-shaped links, it is both an iconic design and a standard bearer in terms of ergonomics and wearer comfort. Each link is rounded on the top, bottom and sides for an exceptionally smooth feel on the wrist.
With a diameter of 41 mm, the black or blue sunray open dial allows for maximum readability, while the bezel features two components, combining two designs: a cushion base and an overlaid ring. Thanks to its four subtle corners, the case shape lies between round and cushion, giving it a softer, more understated design.
The chronograph is a caliber 17 with the small second counter at 3 o'clock, the chronograph minute counter at 9 o'clock and the hour counter at 6 o'clock; These three small snailed counters contrast with the black dial, giving an impression of speed as they reflect the light. Entirely made of steel, the bracelet is fully integrated into the case, making lugs superfluous, and providing a more fluid and ergonomic design.
Each bracelet component is polished, ensuring it is smooth to the touch and flexible on the wrist. Thank to this sublime attention to detail, wearing the Link becomes a genuine experience, one filled with elegance and charm.
The finishes are sophisticated, with a combination of polished and brushed details on the case and bracelet.
