Audi Sport confirmed on Saturday May the 4th its leadership in the World Endurance Championship by placing its 3 cars at the 3 best places in Spa-Francorchamps. Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer, 2011 & 2012 Le Mans 24h winners, won the race in Belgium, with 1m 05s ahead of their teammates Loïc Duval, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish, the Silverstone winners.


“The race at Spa was important for our preparation for the Le Mans 24 Hours. The performances of all three cars were at a very high level throughout the race.”, said Dr Ullrich, Head of Audi Motorsport.


In scoring 26 points in Spa (25 points for the victory and 1 point for the pole position), Fässler, Lotterer and Tréluyer take the lead of the drivers’ ranking, while Audi Sport now has 20 points more than their 1st competitor.


With these great wins, Audi Sport is now looking forward to Le Mans 24h on June 22nd.
