12 teams were in Riyadh last week for the Formula E Championship season opening, with a dual race on Friday and Saturday. For the beginning of this new season, the highly demanding Ad Diriyah Formula E circuit was a thrilling experience: in the middle of the city, a race of 2.5 kilometers, 21 curves and 3 chicanes. 90-degree bends and rapid directional changes also ensured an exciting race.
It's been a long journey, and in the desert of Saudi Arabia, we joined forces with Porsche for this inaugural race. With the performance of TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E driver Andre Lotterer, we were all right to the first podium of the season on Friday!
With this performance, it's highly likely that the sixth Formula E season will be extraordinary.
