Last week, TAG Heuer was in the thick of football action as Brazil took on Argentina at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.  The match, one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year in Australia for 2017, did not disappoint - the sell-out crowd of 95,000 plus were treated to a thrilling display of world-class football that ultimately saw Argentina claim victory in a nail-biting 1-0 result.

Continuing the football fever in Australia, TAG Heuer, Official Watch and the Official Timekeeper of the Caltex Socceroos, invited the Socceroos and their biggest fans to take on the ‘Don’t Crack under Pressure Football Challenge’ at the Rialto’s newly refurbished plaza the heart of Melbourne.

Under the watchful eye of Caltex Socceroos players, Aziz Behich, James Troisi, and Jackson Irvine, fans were tested on the speed and accuracy of their foot skills, in a specialised TAG Heuer football ring.

Kids from Melbourne’s Junior Football clubs braved the chill of a Melbourne winter morning proving they did not crack under pressure as they battled out the speed & accuracy challenge delivering impressive results and capturing the admiration of their idols. 

Joined by MC, Fox Sports Presenter and self confessed football-fanatic, Tara Rushton, the three world-class football players met with delighted fans and signed keep sake photographs and posters.

Also played on TAG Heuer time, the Caltex Socceroos took on Brazil in a friendly that proved the ultimate test of their skills and endurance.
