15 Dec. Bonhams’ Auction
The Haslinger Heuer Collection
Wednesday, the 15th of December 2010
The esteemed auction house Bonhams and the pioneering Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer are proud to presents the sale of the Haslinger Collection which will take place on Wednesday 15th December 2010 at 101 New Bond Street, London W1. This is the very first time that an auction has been entirely dedicated to the Heuer brand.
This Bonhams’ Auction gives TAG Heuer a great opportunity to celebrate its 150 years by sharing with the world of watch collectors and enthusiasts the brand’s passion and expertise in the art of watchmaking.
To pay tribute to its prestigious heritage and to mark its Anniversary, TAG Heuer designed a unique red Silverstone Calibre 11 Chronograph with a red dial incorporating Jack Heuer’s signature and a “SILVERSTONE-UNIQUE PIECE 1/1 – CALIBRE 11 – 150th ANNIVERSARY 1860-2010 – SWISS MADE” exclusive engraving on the case back, making it a true one-off for the discerning collector.
The watch is estimated to fetch £6,000-8,000 and will be sold alongside The Haslinger Collection of fine and rare Heuer watches at Bonhams New Bond Street saleroom.
All proceeds from its sale will be donated to Green Cross International - an organisation closely supported by TAG Heuer through their brand ambassador Leonardo di Caprio. The charity was founded in 1993 under the initiative of Mikhail Gorbachev to respond to the combined challenges of security, poverty and environmental degradation to ensure a sustainable and secure future for all.
