Inspired Styling: the SLR Chronograph pays homage to the Mercedes-Benz SLR.

The dial looks likes the dashboard of a sports car, and the SLR "gill" patterns stamped at 3 o'clock reference the car's signature side-mounted exhausts.

A round date window shifts to 7:30. The hour counter is now at 12 o'clock, the central hand displays minutes, and the counter at 9 o'clock displays seconds.

The innovative chronograph buttons are placed on top of the case.

Under the hood lies the peerless Calibre 36 automatic movement. Like the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren's supercharged engine, this is an exceptional source of power and the only 1/10th sec automatic chronograph.

Unique to the SLR Chronograph is a regulator which provides the dial with the look and utility of a sports car dashboard. Hence the name: Calibre 36 Regulator.
