High performance, precision and quality unite in the TAG Heuer SLR Calibre 17 Chronograph. The Calibre 17 movement on this SLR oscillates at an astonishing 28,000 vibrations per hour, allowing for extremely precise time measurement. The Calibre 17 also has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The design features of the SLR Chronograph take their inspiration from the extreme performance of McLaren Mercedes-Benz SLR sportscars. On the dial, two stylish counters at 3 and 9 o'clock measure running seconds and chrono minutes respectively. The chrono seconds hand is in the center. There is an original triple date window at 6 o'clock, and graphic red touches to enhance readability. The push buttons are fitted with an exclusive and patented TAG Heuer transmission system, and ergonomically fit the curve of the case at 45°.

Double anti-reflective treatment for better readability

All our watches are fitted with sapphire crystal. This is cut from a polished slice of solid sapphire that has been created by the fusion and crystallization of alumina. Sapphire is so hard that only a diamond can scratch it.

Automatic chronograph movement

TAG Heuer Automatic chronographs make it possible
to measure times of up to 12 hours with an accuracy
of 1/8th of a second. They are all fitted with very high-
