Instead, perfect hold is maintained by the comfortable grip of elastomer-coated beta-titanium. Hinges are removed too, and temples fully integrated into the front piece. But Metallic Temples twists these essentials into a daring new form. The beta-titanium of the temple near the face is streamlined, flatteringly discrete. Viewed from the side, the design is understatedly urban. Viewed from above, it’s nothing short of avant-garde.
